He lived at 15 Wheeler Avenue and was 62 years old. His obituary lists his middle initial as "D". Rev. G. H. Holkyoake of Dresserville officiated. George was buried in Preble, NY.¹
      He was employed by the Cortland County Traction Company for 20 years and for the 12 years preceding his death he was an employee of the Brewer-Tichener Corporation. He was a member of the North Presybterian Church in Cortland.
