      Graduated at Yale in 1779 and ordained as pastor at Northfield (now Weston), Conn. When he died he left seven sons and two daughters.

Hines says 1645 in Naseby, Northamptonshire, England.3,4 George died on 23 October 1694 at Hartford, Hartford, CT.1,4
      According to Rick Ingersoll, in a message dated 27 December 2005, Capt. George Denison was in England in the troubled periods of 1645, was wounded in the battle of Baseby in Northampton and was taken to a gentleman's house, and so tenderly nursed by his host's daughter that he recovered and married the lady, Ann Borrodell, who was his second wife.

      Of Sterling, Mass. He was one of the most prominent clergymen in Mass. A graduate of Harvard in 1741. He became the first pastor of the church (Congregational) in Sterling, formerly the West Parish in Lancaster, 19 Dec. 1744, and was dismissed 14 Nov. 1774, charged with being a Tory, and considered an enemy to civil and ecclesiastical liberty, after a pastorate of thirty years he was driven by violence from the pulpit. For ten years he continued to preach in his own home and the school-house, after which he removed from town. He was then pastor for twenty-one years at Hanover, Plymouth Co. Retiring from active work in Feb., 1805, he went to Reading.
