He married Margaret Ann Hutcheson at Glenwood, Mills Co., Iowa, on 8 December 1869. He married Eliza Brader at Jordan Township, Monona Co., Iowa, on 5 December 1891. LDS Ancestral File has an entry indicating married 5 Dec 1895. No evidence cited. Her obituary says 1891.. James died on 25 February 1914 at Shenandoah, Page Co., Iowa. His body was interred at Shenandoah, Page Co., Iowa, at Rose Cemetery. Buried in a plot with James H. Moore, Eliza B. Rea Moore, Robert Lafollete Rea, and Ruby Ellen Rea..
     He was described as 240 pounds, 6 feet, 2 inches. According to his wife's son Alex, James was 6 ft. 2 inches and weight 240 lbs.

However her family Bible indicates her birth was in Storm Lake, IA..1 She married George Rea at Shenandoah, Page Co., Iowa, on 5 March 1903.1 Minnie died on 22 June 1965 at Martinez, Contra Costa, California.1 Her body was interred at Pleasant Hill, Contra Costa, California.

     Eliza was born at on Lee Beam farm, 5 miles NW, Soldier, Jordan Twnshp, Monona Co., Iowa, on 11 October 1905.1 She was the daughter of Alex Rea and Harriett (Hattie) Pansy Stanton. She married Donald William Bennett at Beatrice, Gage Co., Nebraska, on 14 September 1925.1 Eliza Brader Rea died on 22 February 1984 at Nowata, Oklahoma. She was survived by 3 daughters, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.1
      Eliza indicated that although it stood for Brader, her middle name was nothing but the initial B. As of 14 September 1925,her married name was Bennett. She resided at Tulsa, OK, in 1952.

Fred Jay Rea

     Fred was born at on Levi Hubbard farm, Soldier, Jordan Twnshp, Monona Co., Iowa, on 12 June 1907. Soldier and Jordan are both townships, only Soldier has a post office and what would be considered a "town". His sister Mable said he was born in Jordan. His father's farm was 4 1/2 miles NW of Soldier. It could be that the farm itself was in Jordan but what they considered their closest town was Soldier..1 He was the son of Alex Rea and Harriett (Hattie) Pansy Stanton. Fred died on 8 August 1969 at Honolulu, Honolulu Co., Hawaii.1 His body was interred at Kaneohe, Hawaii, at Valley of the Temples.
     He was ill with arthritis; Worked for his sister Audra's husband in Denver, Colo at a filling station. He slipped in the grease pit and injured his back. Subsequently developed arthritis and curvature of the spine. He resided at Wichita, KS, in 1952.

     Mabel was born at Castana, Monona Co., Iowa, on 2 April 1909. Her birth certificate says Mabel. While in her teens she tired of her sister Eliza calling her "May-bull" and began spelling it Maybell..2,3,1 She was the daughter of Alex Rea and Harriett (Hattie) Pansy Stanton.1 She married Orlo Roy Bonner at Albion, Boone, Ne, on 19 April 1930. The wedding announcement in the Norfolk, Nebraska newspaper says "Word has been received here of the marriage of Miss Maybell Rea, formerly of Oakdale and Orlo Bonner of Albion, which took place April 19 in Albion. The bride lived here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Rea, until she was graduated from the Oakdale high school two years ago, when she entered the Norfolk Business college. After completing her business course there, she hwas employed in the Mapes, McDuffee and Maps law office, which place she held at the time of her marriage. She was an active member of the M.E. church and president of the Epworth League in Oakdale at the time she left here. The bridegroom is an industrious young man. He has a responsible position with the Albion Weekly News. His parents live in Columbus. Mr. and Mrs. Bonner will make their home in Albion.".2 She married John Robert Petty on 3 March 1977. Mabel died on 5 October 1993 She died at Peninsula Hospital of pneumonia following a brainstem infarction. at Burlingame, San Mateo County, CA. She died at Peninsula Hospital of pneumonia following a brainstem infarction..3 Her body was interred on 30 October 1993 at Northplatte, Lincoln Co., NE, at Northplatte Cemetery.

Donald William Bennett

     Donald was born at Pawnee City, NE, on 10 February 1905. He was the son of Franklin Leroy Bennett and Olive Barker. He married Eliza Brader Rea at Beatrice, Gage Co., Nebraska, on 14 September 1925.1 Donald died on 19 February 1973 at Westminster, Adams Co., Colorado. His body was interred at Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma, at Memorial Cemetery.

Patricia Lee Bennett

     Patricia was born at Pawnee City, Pawnee Co., Nebraska, on 1 May 1927. She was the daughter of Donald William Bennett and Eliza Brader Rea. She married William Leroy Sharp at Nowata, Nowata Co., Oklahoma, on 22 June 1947.
      As of 22 June 1947,her married name was Sharp. As of 1995, Patricia Lee Bennett lived at Pat and Bill Sharp, Rt. #1, Boxc 130, Delaware, OK. Pat relays "In 1999 we moved fom the ranch to Edmond. The children felt we should becloser tothem and medical facilities. Bill died in 2005 and in 2008 I sold the large house and bought a smaller one. Much easier to care for. We have 7 grandchildren - all grown. And one great grand daughter. In the late 70, your mother and husband (Mable Rea/John Petty) came to Tulsa. They were on vacation and came to visit ORal Robert's Prayer Tower. I cam down to Mother's and had lu. She lived on 23 December 2011 at Redmond, OK.

     Donald was born at Kenbro, Greenwood Co., Kansas, on 5 August 1929. He was the son of Donald William Bennett and Eliza Brader Rea. Donald died on 17 August 1975. His body was interred at Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma.

Orlo Roy Bonner

M, b. 2 July 1908, d. 22 October 1974
     Orlo was born at Shelby, Polk Co., NE, on 2 July 1908. He was the son of Ernest Edward Bonner and Ethel Blanche Rinesmith.1 He married Mabel Lissie Rea at Albion, Boone, Ne, on 19 April 1930. The wedding announcement in the Norfolk, Nebraska newspaper says "Word has been received here of the marriage of Miss Maybell Rea, formerly of Oakdale and Orlo Bonner of Albion, which took place April 19 in Albion. The bride lived here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Rea, until she was graduated from the Oakdale high school two years ago, when she entered the Norfolk Business college. After completing her business course there, she hwas employed in the Mapes, McDuffee and Maps law office, which place she held at the time of her marriage. She was an active member of the M.E. church and president of the Epworth League in Oakdale at the time she left here. The bridegroom is an industrious young man. He has a responsible position with the Albion Weekly News. His parents live in Columbus. Mr. and Mrs. Bonner will make their home in Albion.".2 Orlo died on 22 October 1974 at San Jose, Santa Clara Co., CA.1 His body was interred in 1974 at Northplatte, Lincoln Co., NE.
     His Social Security Number was 506-03-6345. Orlo was honored on 18 February 1928. He resided at Logan, Harrison Co., IA, on 21 November 1931. He resided at Northplatte, Lincoln Co., NE, in October 1953. He resided at Sterling, Logan Co., CO, in 1955.
