Hannah Stanton died on 29 August 1881 at Holderness, NH. She lived to the great age of 105 years, 2 months, 4 days. She retained all of her faculties until the end, and until two days before her death she took her meals at the table with the family.
      When about 8 years old her parents moved to Fairley, VT., and 4 years later to Holderness, N.H. As of 22 September 1798,her married name was Cox.

     Erastus was born at Preston, New London, CT, on 9 September 1778. He was the son of Isaac Wheeler Stanton and Ruth Ayer. He married Elizabeth Shepard at Holderness, NH, in 1803. Erastus Stanton died on 8 July 1864 at Danville, VT.
     When 6 years old he was taken by his parents to Fairley, VT., and when 10 years old to Holderness, N.H.. After his marriage to Elizabeth Shepard he moved to Danville, VT., in company with his wife, daughter Eliza, his parents, his borthers, John A. and Joseph, and his sister Ruth. In Aug of 1805 Erastus had built and moved into the wooden part of the house in 1891 occupied by Fred G. Stanton. There all of his children except Eliza were born. He was a farmer, a Democrat and a Methodist.

     Isaac was born at Preston, New London, CT, on 10 April 1781. He was the son of Isaac Wheeler Stanton and Ruth Ayer. He married Martha Blount at Danville, VT, in 1809. Isaac Wheeler Stanton Jr. died on 26 October 1870 at Danville, VT.
     When 3 years old his parents moved to Fairley, VT., and when 8 years old to Holderness, N.H. In 1806 he moved to Danville, VT., and settled on a tract of wild land where his son William B. lived in 1891.

     John was born at Fairley, Vt, on 7 December 1785. He was the son of Isaac Wheeler Stanton and Ruth Ayer. He married Tamson Stevens at Danville, VT, in 1811. John Ayer Stanton died on 4 February 1843 at on his farm, Danville, VT.
      He was taken by his parents to Holderness, N.H. in 1789, and to Danville, Vt., in 1805. There he married his wife. He served in the Warof 1812. He was a deacon in the church and a justice of the peace. He lived on the farm now occupied by his son Erastus A.

     Joseph was born at Fairley, Vt, on 15 March 1789. He was the son of Isaac Wheeler Stanton and Ruth Ayer. He married Lodicia Barron. Joseph Stanton died on 11 April 1868 at Holland, NY.
      He was taken by his parents to Holderness, N.H. in 1789, and in 1805 to Danville, VT. After his marriage they moved to New York State.

     Ruth was born at Holderness, Nh, on 19 August 1790. She was the daughter of Isaac Wheeler Stanton and Ruth Ayer.
