He served at Cape Vincent, Le Roy, Sandy Creek, Turin, Cape Vincent, Green, Wyoming, PA., Kingston, PA., Skinner's Eddy, PA., Binghamton, NY., Owego, NY., Green, NY., Fairfield, NY., Romne, Camden, Watertown, Pulaski, Liverpool, Cazenovia, NEwark, Camillus, Nelson, Clockville, and Kirkville. He was presiding elder of these districts: Watertown, Adams, and Syracuse.

     Elijah was born at Russia, Ny, on 29 May 1811.¹ He was the son of Daniel Stanton and Dorcas Corbin. He married Margurette Cruikshank on 19 October 1834.¹ He married Nancy Cruikshank on 1 December 1839.¹ He married Augusta Gilchrist.¹
     He resided in 1891.

     Lyman was born at Russia, NY, on 21 July 1814. He was the son of Daniel Stanton and Dorcas Corbin. He married Jemima Topping on 16 October 1836. He married Emily Cottrell on 24 December 1844. Lyman died on 24 November 1870.

     Louisa was born at Russia, Ny, on 16 October 1818. She was the daughter of Daniel Stanton and Dorcas Corbin. She married Benjamin Merriman on 12 February 1837. Louisa died on 13 February 1887.

     Susan was born at Russia, Ny, on 29 July 1825. She was the daughter of Daniel Stanton and Dorcas Corbin. She married Dr. Ebenezer Allen on 15 November 1843.

     Mary was born on 10 October 1812. She was the daughter of Richard M. Van Huesen and (?) (?). She married Rev. Freeman Harlow Stanton on 10 January 1832. Mary died on 9 December 1883.

     Maria Herriman was the daughter of Banjamin Merriman Sr. She married John Stanton on 21 September 1831.

      He was a deacon of the Baptist Church in Hornby, NY and a Captain of the Militia.

     Olive was born in April 1786. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Brown. Olive died in February 1881 at Syracuse, Onondaga, NY.

     Nathaniel was born at Charleston, NY, on 25 January 1815. Soon after his birth his parents moved to Hornby, NY where he spent the rest of his life.. He was the son of Capt. Amasa Stanton and Dimmis Brown. He married Samantha Tracy. Nathaniel died on 16 April 1878 drowned in a well on his farm. Drowned in a well on his farm.
     Nathaniel served in the military. He was prosperous farmer; in religion a Baptist; and in politics a strong Republican.

     George was born at Hornby, Steuben Co., Ny. He is said to have been the first child born in Hornby.. He was the son of Capt. Amasa Stanton and Dimmis Brown. He married Mary Ann Harrower on 1 November 1848. He married Margaret A. Taylor on 25 December 1852. He married Hannah Parmelee in 1873.
     George's occupation: merchant at Lawrenceville, PA, in 1856. He resided at Grand Rapid, Mich, in 1870. He invested largely in Michigan pine lands, and, being fortunate in said investments, has retired (1891) from active business. He was a man of wide reading and thoughtful habits. He traveled much and observed closely.

     John was born at Hornby, Steuben Co., Ny, in November 1819. He was the son of Capt. Amasa Stanton and Dimmis Brown. He married Eliza Millison More at Shippen, PA, on 18 October 1854. John died on 14 February 1864 at Shippen, PA.

     Charles was born at Hornby, Steuben Co., Ny, on 8 November 1823. He was the son of Capt. Amasa Stanton and Dimmis Brown. He married Helen Jane Nichoson at Lawrenceville, Tioga Co., PA, on 16 December 1852. He married Anna Beers on 8 September 1863.

He was a Deacon in the First Baptist Church 30 or more years and for a quarter of a century served the church as clerk and treasurer; for ten years he was superintendent of the Sunday School.

     Olive was born at Hornby, Steuben Co., Ny, on 4 May 1827. She was the daughter of Capt. Amasa Stanton and Dimmis Brown. Olive Bonham Stanton was baptized. They lived in Amboy, Illinois and Grand Rapids, Michigan. They were members of the Baptist church. She married Cornelius Alpheus Wall, son of Lansing Wall and Elizabeth Prudence Goodliff, on 9 September 1846 at Hornby, NY. Olive died on 20 December 1881.

     Judson was born at Hornby, Steuben Co., Ny, on 17 July 1831. He was the son of Capt. Amasa Stanton and Dimmis Brown. Judson Wade Stanton married Mary Miller, daughter of John Miller and Mary S. (?), at Hornby, NY. Judson Wade Stanton married Sarah Phelps on 25 February 1875 at Grand Rapids, MI. Judson died on 18 February 1886 at Grand Rapids, MI.
     He resided at Hornby, Steuben Co., Ny, in 1831. He resided at Grand Rapids, Michigan, after 1870.

     Robert was born at Hornby, Steuben Co., Ny, on 16 September 1833. He was the son of Capt. Amasa Stanton and Dimmis Brown. Rev. Robert Bonham Stanton married Annis Ogden, daughter of Daniel Ogden and Savila (?), on 9 October 1860 at Cooper's Plains, NY.
      He was ordained a Baptist minister in Cooper's Plains, N.Y., March 1860, and served as pastor in Cooper's Plains, Weston, Altay, Wayne, Romulus, Altay. He studied at Lima and Rochester, N.Y. and now [1891] lives on his fruit farm at Keuka, Steuben county, N.Y., where his son Fred and daughter Stella are also.

     Helen was born at Albion, NY, on 20 April 1831. She was the daughter of Dr. Orson Nichoson and Lucy Morris. She married Deacon Charles Alonzo Stanton at Lawrenceville, Tioga Co., PA, on 16 December 1852. Helen died on 12 May 1862 consumption at Madison, Jefferson Co., Ind. Consumption. Her body was interred at Albion, NY.
      As of 16 December 1852,her married name was Stanton. Her failing health after the birth of her son made a change necessary and several years were spent in travel, chiefly in the south.

     Anna was born at Madison, Ind, on 27 June 1839. She was the daughter of Seth Smith Beers and Elmira Badger. She married Deacon Charles Alonzo Stanton on 8 September 1863.

     Abraham was born at Middleburgh, Schoharie Co., NY, on 16 October 1824.^2,1 He was the son of Freeman Stanton and Maria Lawyer. Abraham Lawyer Stanton married an unknown person .¹ He married Sabina M. Bouck on 6 December 1845.^2,1 Abraham Lawyer Stanton married Mary Morrow.¹
      "He was reared on the farm and followed agriculture and bee culture in connection with various enterprises until 1888, when he retired to Schenectady, NY. He is possessed of ample means, has a wonderful memory, and although in his eithty-sixth year is ative and in good health. He has always been a Democrat in politics."¹

     Louisa was born on 9 April 1826. The Sarah Stanton Kniskern manuscript refers to Louisa as "Louisa K."..^1,2 She was the daughter of Freeman Stanton and Maria Lawyer. Louisa died on 26 March 1882.^1,2
