     Nathan was born at Kingstown, RI, on 14 March 1717. Raymond Sheffield indicates 14 Mar 1716. No citation..1 He was the son of John Tefft and Joanna Sprague.2 He married Isabel Stanton at South Kingstown, RI, on 16 September 1742.1 Nathan died on 3 April 1789 at Easton, NY.1
      He was a Justice of the Peace in Albany county New York and Kings County Rhode Island. He also served as a Captain in the third Kings County militia. They moved to Washington county NY 1766 and seeled in Middle Forks.1

Her body was interred at Cortland, NY. Email from Ashli Baden ([email protected]). "I'm from Cortland, NY and just recently visited an old abandoned cemetery down the road from my house. It is in very rough shape, and weathered but I was able to make out 2 names. One stone said Job Card 7/7/1843, and the next said Huldah Card, wife of Job Card.".
      As of 1791,her married name was Card.
