RebeccaPalmer was the daughter of WalterPalmer and RebeccaShort. She remarried after her husband Elisha's death and had children by that second husband. Rebecca Palmer married ElishaChesebrough, son of WilliamChesebrough and AnnaStephenson, on 20 April 1665. As of 20 April 1665,her married name was Chesebrough.
ThomasMiner was born in 1608.. He came from Chew Magna, England in 1630, in the same company with William Chesebrough. He was descended from Henry (Bellman) Miner of Mendippe Hills, Somerset, England who died in 1359.

Elihu was born at Stonington, New London Co, Ct, on 30 November 1704. He was the son of ElishaChesebrough and HannahMiner. Elihu Chesebrough married EstherDennis, daughter of EbenezerDennis and SarahDennis, on 18 February 1740 at Stonington, New London, CT, They had seven children; the second was Elihu Jr. Elihu died on 27 October 1769 at Stonington, New London Co, Ct.

Esther was born at New London, New London Co, Ct, on 23 October 1711. She was the daughter of EbenezerDennis and SarahDennis. Esther Dennis married ElihuChesebrough, son of ElishaChesebrough and HannahMiner, on 18 February 1740 at Stonington, New London, CT, They had seven children; the second was Elihu Jr. As of 18 February 1740,her married name was Chesebrough. Esther died on 5 December 1768 at New London, New London Co, Ct.

ElihuChesebroughJr. was born on 29 June 1743.. He was the son of ElihuChesebrough and EstherDennis. Elihu Chesebrough Jr. married PhebeDenison, daughter of DanielDenison and EstherWheeler. Elihu Chesebrough Jr. died on 26 August 1781. He was a descendant of William Chesebrough, the first settler of what is now Stonington, Conn.

ElderElihuChesebrough was born on 26 March 1769.. He was the son of ElihuChesebroughJr. and PhebeDenison. Elder Elihu Chesebrough married LydiaChesebrough, daughter of ZebulonChesebrough, on 20 March 1791. Elder Elihu Chesebrough married MaryFish on 8 October 1848 she was a widow. Elder Elihu Chesebrough died on 29 April 1868. He was a Baptist minister.

Rev.RoswellBurrows was born on 2 September 1768 at Groton, CT.. He was the son of ElderSilasBurrows and MarySmith. Rev. Roswell Burrows married JerushaAvery in 1789 they had seven children. Rev. Roswell Burrows died on 28 May 1837. He was ordained in Groton in 1806 and was associate pastor with his father, whose place he filled after 1818.

Hon.Roswell S.Burrows was born on 22 February 1798 at Groton, CT.. He was the son of Rev.RoswellBurrows and JerushaAvery. Hon. Roswell S. Burrows died circa 1884. In 1824 he moved to Albion, NY., where as a banker and business man he became very wealthy; he was a member of Congress; he gave to Rochester Theological Seminary the celebrated Neander Library valued.
