April 1935 she was struck by a bicycle on a sidewalk and
recieved a hip fracture.
Bruce writes that she was a 5th cousin of John Brown who was
the one the song 'John Browns body lies a'mouldering in his
grave' was written about. She always said he was her favorite
cousin.

Ruth Putnam Bauman (June 1, 1994) - Lived on the Hiram Rockwell
farm up the road by Longs Pond/mill. Wedding to Mr. Bardwell
was after they had butchered a hog.
