Fred's family Bible. The death certificate says 4 June 1879.

[2999] Made his living peddling clothes & shoes to farmers. Clarence
did the same for a time. Leroy ran the store in Barnerville and
took and delivered orders for groceries from farmers on the
road. Leroy and Lillian lived next to the store and had an
outhouse. He also lived in grandma Stanton's house for a while.
Grandma Stanton also had an outhouse when I was growing up.
Lester lived at home with his mother when he wasn't in
Binghamton. Charlotte also lived with grandma to look after her
when she got old.
